Anastasia Slavinskaya

Since my early childhood I have been artistically interested and consistently followed this path, both privately and at different art schools. While trying out different techniques I discovered my passion for oil painting, where, in addition to illustration until now my main interest lies. At the beginning, I painted very closely to my own photo templates, but over years I came to work more and more freely and independently, although the objectivity is still very important to me. Some artists that influence and inspire me are Peter Doig (free interpretation), Xenia Hausner (color palette), Ferdinand Hodler (Landscapes), Paula Modersohn-Becker (Soul), Albrecht Dürer (stroke). At the moment I focus on developing my own color palette and always on my brush flow. Painting means to me using a form of expression, for which there is no vocabulary in any other media out there.
